Walnut Cookies

Walnut Cookies - salty, peppery cookies with walnuts.

Ingredients

1220 g flour 
21/2 tsp salt 
31/2 tsp black pepper 
41/4 tsp baking soda 
5200 g butter 
62 boiled egg yolks 
7150 g grated hard cheese 
8~half a liter of shelled walnuts

Instructions

Grate the cheese, butter, boiled egg yolks, and 5-6 walnuts.

Add flour, salt, pepper, and baking soda (moistened with lemon juice or vinegar). Mix and knead the dough. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for half an hour.

Remove the dough from the refrigerator, roll it into logs, cut into slices, and attach a walnut half to each piece.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180-190°C on parchment paper for 10-12 minutes.
